An Approximate Algorithm for Nonholonomic Motion Planning
We present a steering algorithm for general nonholonomic systems which are not required to possess special properties such as flatness or exact nilpotentizability. The method makes use of local steering laws, with suitable contraction properties, designed on the basis of a continuous approximation of the system.
متن کاملOptimal motion planning for nonholonomic systems using genetic algorithm with wavelet approximation
An optimal motion planning scheme using genetic algorithm with wavelet approximation is proposed for nonholonomic systems. The motion planning of nonholonomic systems can be formulated as an optimal control of a driftfree system. A cost function is introduced to incorporate the control energy and the final state errors. The control inputs are determined to minimize the cost functional. By using...
متن کاملMotion Planning of nonholonomic systems with Tracking Control Lyapunov Function
A common approach to motion planning of robots and vehicles involves finding suitable trajectories for the positions of each configuration variable, and then using feedback to regulate the system to these trajectories. However, when the system has less actuator than dynamical degrees of freedom, it is not always possible to do this arbitrarily. In this paper a tracking control Lyapunov function...
متن کاملGeometric Numerical Integration of Nonholonomic Systems and Optimal Control Problems
A geometric derivation of numerical integrators for nonholonomic systems and optimal control problems is obtained. It is based in the classical technique of generating functions adapted to the special features of nonholonomic systems and optimal control problems.
متن کاملAdaptive Optimal Dynamic Control for Nonholonomic Systems
In this paper two different control methods are combined for controlling a typical nonholonomic device (a bicycle) the dynamic model and parameters of which are only approximately known. Most of such devices suffer from the problem that the time-derivatives of the coordinates of their location and orientation cannot independently be set so an arbitrarily prescribed trajectory cannot precisely b...
